Unified Legal & Governance Center

Single source of truth for terms of examination service, candidate privacy, refund policies, candidate code of conduct, and statutory grievance redressal across all Think Extra series.

STATUTORY FRAMEWORK: DPDP ACT 2023 (INDIA) LAST REVISED: OCTOBER 2026 VERSION: 2.5 SOVEREIGN

Privacy Policy & Data Sovereignty Pledge

How candidate mock progress, device telemetry, and authentication identities are protected across all Think Extra examination portals.

01 Zero Commercial Tracking & Ad-Free Commitment

Think Extra is engineered with an uncompromising respect for candidate focus. We do not host commercial display advertising, ad-exchange bidding networks, remarketing pixels (e.g. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok), or telemetry data brokers.

We do not sell, rent, license, or monetize candidate learning histories, mock percentiles, or question failure rates to third-party test-preparation coaching conglomerates or marketing agencies.

02 Local-First Client Architecture

Our mock simulators operate on a client-side offline-first architecture. When attempting an OMRA test, CAT logic drill, or GATE technical paper, your question drafts, timer bookmarks, and mistake logs are stored in private browser storage (IndexedDB and LocalStorage) on your own device.

Offline Guarantee: Your examination data remains accessible even in airplane mode or remote training camps with zero cellular coverage.

03 Authentication Identity & Cloud Security

Single sign-on across the ecosystem (accounts.thinkextra.in) is encrypted with 256-bit TLS 1.3 in transit and stored at rest in Supabase infrastructure within designated sovereign cloud regions. We collect only minimal required profile fields: email address, full name, and authenticated user ID.

Passkeys and biometric logins (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello) are processed strictly via WebAuthn hardware security enclaves and are never exposed to our servers.

04 Candidate Rights & Right to Complete Erasure

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you retain ownership of your personal data. You have the statutory right to request:

  • Data Portability: A complete export of your synced exam attempts and mistake vault records.
  • Permanent Erasure: Complete deletion of your account and synchronized telemetry from our authentication databases with zero retention delay.

To exercise your rights, contact [email protected] or our WhatsApp Candidate Desk at +91 72062 83166.

LEGAL JURISDICTION: NEW DELHI / HARYANA, INDIA GOVERNING LAW: INDIAN CONTRACT ACT, 1872 SERIES: 01 TO 05

Terms of Examination Service

Governing agreement for utilizing Think Extra digital instruments, simulators, and candidate accounts.

01 Operating Entity & Sovereign Mission

Think Extra (thinkextra.in) and its series simulators (Ektapath, Tarkapath, Agri-Abhyas, Saral-CGL, and Ananya GATE) are digital instruments engineered and maintained by Shri Laxmi Narayan Technologies, architected by Raghav Bansal.

02 Academic Simulation & Non-Affiliation Disclaimers

All examination portals in the ecosystem are independent academic preparation instruments created for candidate self-study and CBT interface familiarization:

  • Series 01 (Ektapath): Independent training tool; not officially affiliated with or endorsed by the Directorate General, National Cadet Corps (NCC) or the Ministry of Defence.
  • Series 02 (Tarkapath): CAT (Common Admission Test) and IIM are registered trademarks of the Indian Institutes of Management. TCS iON is a trademark of Tata Consultancy Services. Tarkapath is an independent simulation simulator.
  • Series 03 (Agri-Abhyas): Independent entrance simulator; not officially affiliated with CCS Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar.
  • Series 04 (Saral-CGL): Independent simulator; not affiliated with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) or Government of India.
  • Series 05 (Ananya GATE): Independent simulation studio; not affiliated with the GATE Organizing Committee or the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

03 Fair Use & Intellectual Property

Previous year questions (PYQs) and syllabus standards are compiled for educational analysis and research under Section 52(1)(a) of the Indian Copyright Act 1957. Users receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license for individual self-study.

Automated web scraping, systematic extraction of question banks, commercial redistributions, or unauthorized reverse-engineering of CBT telemetry engines is strictly prohibited.

04 Service Availability & Offline Continuity

While we strive for 99.9% cloud authentication availability, offline-cached PWA paper simulations operate locally on your client machine and are subject to your personal device storage policies.

COMMERCIAL COMPLIANCE: CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2019 TIER: OPEN EDUCATIONAL ACCESS BILLING PROTOCOL: CLEAR & TRANSPARENT

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Explicit commercial rules governing free educational tiers, mock packs, digital access licenses, and payment dispute resolution.

01 Free Core Tier Commitment

Think Extra is dedicated to national educational empowerment. All standard public CBT question banks, foundational offline drills, OMRA simulators, and basic analytical vaults are provided 100% free of charge with zero hidden paywalls.

02 Digital Goods & Immediate Access Policy

Where premium sectional papers, specialized battalion batch licenses, or institutional CBT deployments are procured:

  • Because digital simulation materials, question banks, and offline telemetry models are unlocked immediately upon authentication, such digital goods are generally non-refundable once content access or license key activation has commenced.
  • If an unintended duplicate charge occurs due to an online payment gateway glitch, a 100% refund of the duplicate amount will be processed automatically within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment source.

03 48-Hour Technical Defect Window

If you experience a verified technical defect preventing test submission or question rendering that cannot be resolved by our engineering desk within 48 hours of reporting, you are entitled to a full refund or an equivalent credit license.

04 Cancellation of Institutional Subscriptions

Cadet battalions, colleges, or training academies with customized CBT deployment agreements may cancel their renewal by providing written notice 15 days prior to the billing cycle end at [email protected].

ETHOS: एकता और अनुशासन (UNITY & DISCIPLINE) APPLIES TO: ALL ASPIRANTS, CADETS & SCHOLARS SANCTITY: SOVEREIGN EXAMINATION INTEGRITY

Aspirant & Cadet Honor Code

Pledges of academic honesty, military discipline, and authentic preparation required of all candidates.

01 Authentic Mock Timing & Zero External Aids

When launching a timed CBT paper or sectional speed vault:

  • Complete the full test under strict uninterrupted countdown conditions without pausing the browser or looking up answers in reference books or online search.
  • Authentic capability is forged through honest struggle under exam stress; inflating mock scores through external reference harms only yourself on examination day.

02 Tri-Service Cadet Integrity (Ektapath)

For NCC Army, Navy, and Air Wing cadets preparing for Certificate B & C on Ektapath, embody the national motto Unity and Discipline. Maintain the same solemn integrity in academic testing as required during field firing, drill square parade, and battalion inspection.

03 Mutual Professional Respect in Candidate Forums

Candidate discussion boards, question report logs, and peer rankings must remain strictly distraction-free sanctuaries of mutual encouragement. Abusive remarks, political haranguing, or disparagement of peer efforts will result in immediate identity revocation.

SIMULATOR STANDARDS: TCS iON CBT · OMRA OPTICAL · DEST SPEED ENGINEERING: ZERO-LATENCY PRECISION

CBT Simulator & Technical Rules

Detailed operational parameters, negative marking formulas, and interface calibration rules across all portals.

01 Negative Marking Calibration

Every series portal implements authentic examination penalty scoring:

  • CAT (Tarkapath): +3 marks for correct MCQ response, -1 mark penalty for incorrect MCQ response. Non-MCQ (TITA) questions carry zero negative penalty.
  • SSC CGL (Saral-CGL): Tier 1 applies -0.50 mark penalty per wrong answer; Tier 2 sectional evaluation strictly mirrors the 2026 scheme (+3 correct, -1 penalty).
  • GATE (Ananya Series): 1-mark MCQs deduct 1/3 mark for wrong answer; 2-mark MCQs deduct 2/3 mark. MSQ and NAT questions carry zero negative penalty.
  • NCC (Ektapath): Full OMR optical penalty marking calibrated to Directorate standards.

02 DEST Typing Test Rules (Saral-CGL)

The DEST typing simulator evaluates keystrokes against official Staff Selection Commission calculation formulas. Full errors (omissions, substitutions) and half errors (spelling, capitalization, punctuation) are computed with zero backspace disablement unless strict exam mode is active.

03 Offline Cache & Synchronized Telemetry

Do not clear browser storage (IndexedDB) mid-exam session. For safety, completed mock scores are locally compiled and then opportunistically synchronized with Supabase once network connectivity is re-established.
